Built in Kampala, for Ugandan creators.
Flatiron Solutions was founded in 2022 by four Ugandan operators — two designers, a music producer, and a payments engineer — who'd watched the digital goods category fragment into platforms that took 30%, marketplaces that drowned creators in algorithmic noise, and global platforms that didn't support Mobile Money. We built a Uganda-first alternative: 3% platform fee, native MTN and Airtel Money, same-day payouts, and a deliberate refusal to monetize creators through anything other than transparent transaction fees.
How we make money
Three percent platform transaction fee plus annual licensing tiers. That's it. No revenue share on creator-set add-ons, no algorithmic ad placements, no upsells to creators.
How we treat creators
Same-day payouts to MTN, Airtel, or bank. Direct customer relationships — creators have full access to their customer lists, can export at any time, and can migrate off the platform with their data intact.
